Every year, many people flock to 7-Eleven because of their ‘Free Slurpee” day ON 7/11. They’ve been doing this since July 11, 2002.
This year they have decided to cancel the event because of “uncertainties associated with the COVID-19 pandemic.”
It’s not a TOTAL cancellation though…. If you’re a member of the 7-Eleven loyalty app, you will be mailed a free Slurpee coupon for use any time this July.
