Korean Tour golf star and ex-PGA tour golfer Bio Kim snapped on a fan on the 16th hole when he heard the sound of a shutter from a phone camera during his swing. Kim promptly flipped off the fan, and then went on to win the tournament.
And, even though he immediately apologized for his quick-tempered display, on his knees in front of the press, officials still hit him with a THREE-YEAR SUSPENSION, saying he had “damaged the dignity of a golfer with etiquette violation and inappropriate behaviour.” Then they fined him the US equivalent of $8,350.
