The Brew Review welcomes Samuel Adams, Abita, & Shiner Bock.

Riggs & Steve from The Morning HOG were joined by Josh from S.R. Perrott, like always. On todays episode, we’re gonna get into some holiday themed beverages. Kicking things off we have one from Sam Adams with their Holiday White Ale. Sam Adams Holiday White Ale is crisp & zesty, with holiday flavors like cinnamon, nutmeg, & a dusting of orange peel. Whether you’re spicing up the holiday office party or looking for the perfect already-wrapped gift, White Ale is light & bright, with enough hop character to cheer you on through season. Coming in second is Sam Adams Winter Lager. Sam Adams Winter Lager is brewed with cinnamon & orange peel — no baking required. Full-bodied, festive flavors & smooth as a sleigh ride, bring an unexpected twist to your holiday parties.

After a short break, we resumed the beer drinking with one from Abita called Christmas Ale. Christmas Ale is a brown ale that is brewed with 6 types of malted barley & fermented with American Ale yeast. It is brewed with pale malt as well as a combination of Caramel, Biscuit, Munich, & chocolate malts. It is hopped & dry-hopped with Columbus, Cascade, Centennial, & Amarillo & has a nice piney & citrus hop flavor & aroma. And lastly, we cracked open a Shiner called Cheer. Shiner Cheer is a fresh twist on a traditional Dunkelweizen, combining chocolaty, sweet flavors with hints of peach & pecan. Its thoroughly caramelized malts give it a deep color & complex taste that’s perfect for the holidays. That’s gonna wrap it up for today.
