Scientists in Australia say that the medication used for treating head lice could be helpful in fighting the Coronavirus. It’s an antiparasitic drug called ivermectin.
They say it treats the virus like a parasite and and it could possibly help fight it off from harming healthy cells. Early studies show it to be promising.
More studies need to be conducted to see just how effective it could be.
