The Brew Review presents Terrapin, Warsteiner, Big Storm, & Dogfish Head.

Josh from S.R. Perrott joined Riggs & Steve from The Morning HOG today with some more Oktoberfest brews. The first beer we tapped was one from Athens-based Terrapin called Oktoberfest with 5.5% ABV. In keeping with tradition, Terrapin has created their version of this classic Bavarian beer. Brewed with 100% German malts & hops, this Marzen-style lager will have you singing “Ein Prosit” in no time. Next up we have another Oktoberfest beer from Warsteiner clocking in at 5.9% ABV. This beer is brewed with hand-selected hops, Munich-type spring barley malt, & extra-soft brewing water from the Arnsberg forest nature park. Its well-balanced taste will make you feel like you’re part of the Oktoberfest, wherever you are.

Immediately following a short break, The Morning HOG Brew Review resumed with another Oktoberfest beer from Clearwater brewery; Big Storm with an impressive 6.4% ABV. This brew was named the overall winner for 2016 in the Best Florida Beer Competition. True to the spirit of the great German festival, this Oktoberfest märzen lager is brewed in traditional Bavarian style, so you can enjoy the clean finish & toasty malt flavors your tastebuds crave. And finally, a tasty pumpkin ale from Dogfish Head called Punkin Ale with a hefty 7% ABV! Named after the seriously off-centered southern Delaware extravaganza Punkin Chunkin, Punkin Ale is a full-bodied brown ale with smooth hints of pumpkin & brown sugar thanks to our brewers using real pumpkin meat, brown sugar, & spices. That’ll do it for this weeks Brew Review. We hope you have enjoyed all of the Oktoberfest / Pumpkin brews as much as we did. And if you’re interested in grabbing any of these for your next gathering, click here to locate the nearest S.R. Perrott dealer. So, raise your glasses & toast to the spirit of Oktoberfest….Cheers!!
