The Brew Review welcomes Bell’s, J-Dubs, & TBBC!

Riggs & Steve from The Morning HOG graciously welcomed Josh from S.R. Perrott. The first two beers we tried are from Bell’s. Introducing Bell’s Oberon Eclipse with 6.3% ABV. Oberon Eclipse has a strong wheat backbone, balanced with a little bit of sweetness & richness accompanied by the orange & coriander. It features a slightly bitter, clean finish that is medium bodied & slightly warming. Next up with 7.5% ABV is Bell’s Christmas Ale. Full Bodied, slightly sweet, & biscuity, this traditional Scotch Ale is rich & malty with notes of caramel & a warm finish.

After a short break, the boys had to put on their seatbelts for this next brew. A fan favorite from TBBC; take a bow for Moose Killer with an astounding 10% ABV. One of the original TBBC beers, first brewed in 1995! This cult-classic, American-style Barleywine is robust & malt forward with a refined intensity. Biscuity up-front, smoothed out with flavors of caramel & toffee, followed by hoppy notes. And last but certainly not least, we have one from J-Dubs called Peppermint Bell Cow cruising in at 5.6% ABV. Season’s Greetings, a delicous holiday offering from Jdub’s. A yuletide version of our Bell Cow, with spicy peppermint; like the holiday treat Peppermint Bark. Forego the Egg Nog & toast with JDub’s Seasons Greeting!! That’s a wrap on our second to last 2023 Brew Review. If you wanna wrap your hot hands around some of these icy cold drinks, click this link here for your nearest S.R. Perrott dealer.
