The Volusia County Sheriff’s office is reporting that around 2 a.m. Sunday, Seminole County’s Alert One helicopter was in flight when a pilot received an alert from his Ring camera at his home. The doorbell camera video showed two suspects checking handles on his vehicles while an SUV followed them.
He notified the Volusia Country Sheriff’s deputies, and then located the suspect vehicle from the helicopter. While attempting a traffic stop, the vehicle fled into Seminole County. Deputies successfully deployed stop sticks and the suspects bailed out of the vehicle while it was still rolling in Sanford.
All three suspected were taken into custody. Police were able to link several wallets in the car to other break ins and the car itself was stolen. They’re facing multiple charges. Check out the video from Volusia County Sheriff’s office below.
