One Alabama woman got an itchy trigger finger after dealing with a bout of road rage and wound up shooting the wrong target.
Erica Cole and her husband Nicholas were driving on Friday night and found themselves in a road rage incident.
We’re not entirely sure of the full details at this point, since it is still under investigation, but the Coles and the other driver ended up pulling over in front of a house to keep the fight going.
At some point during the scuffle, Erica pulled her gun out and fired a shot that was intended for the other driver. Unfortunately for Erica, she ended up shooting her husband in the head.
Nicholas is currently in stable condition. Erica was arrested on charges of attempted murder, second-degree assault, and reckless endangerment. She is being held without bond.
I feel like she needs to spend more time at the shooting range.
